“I indeed baptise you with water unto repentance, but He who is coming after me is mightier than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptise you with the Holy Spirit and fire.” ― St. John

"Suddenly I stopped and asked myself, when have I ever truly thanked God for the many blessings in my life? It was then that I realised something had to change. I would either have to reject Him outright, deny that He existed and never think upon Him again, or find out who He really was. How I thank Him that His grace led me to the latter, for now I could nor more imagine living without Him than I could living without breath in my lungs. For knowing God and being known by Him is quite simply the most beautiful experience this life affords." ― Br. Giacomo

"For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given; and the government shall be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the increase of His government and peace there will be no end, upon the throne of David and over His kingdom, to order it and establish it with judgment and justice from that time forward, even forever. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this." (Isaiah 9: 6-7)
This prophecy by Isaiah speaks of the advent of our Lord Jesus Christ which the earth witnessed some two thousand years ago, and of His second coming when He will establish peace and justice throughout the earth. That time approaches ever more quickly.
'He who testifies to these things says, “Surely I am coming quickly.” Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus!'— St. John the Evangelist
"If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us, but if we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." — St. John

“When you argue against God you are arguing against the very power that makes you able to argue at all; it is like cutting off the branch you are sitting on.” — CS Lewis
"Awake! thou that sleepest, arise from the dead! The Lord still lives today. His power has never abated. His Word has never changed. The things He did in times gone by, He still lives to do today. Not a burden is there He cannot bear, nor a fetter He cannot break." — Aimee Semple McPherson

"I think it might be fairly described as a form of insanity when for a temporary reward a man will labour long and travel great distances; while for the gift of eternal life he will barely take a single step! May God so open our eyes that we might recognise that which is of true value." — Thomas à Kempis

“Do all the good you can, by all the means you can, in all the ways you can, in all the places you can, at all the times you can, to all the people you can, as long as ever you can.” — John Wesley
"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light." ― Jesus Christ

"I would suggest that faith is everyone's business. The advance or decline of faith is so intimately connected to the welfare of a society that it should be of the utmost concern to every politician," ― William Wilberforce
"You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind, this is the first and great commandment, and the second is like it; you shall love your neighbour as yourself."― Jesus Christ
